Created in 1945, this CHYPRE fragrance was one the first creations of Edmond Rounitska, now the doyen of the 'noses'. It was created by Marcel Rochas as a wedding present for his new wife H?l?ne. As soon as the war permitted it was commercially launched and became an immediate success. Originally presented in a Lalique crystal flacon that was said to have been disgined by Rochas himself, the scents tactile bottle is modelled on the voluptuous curves of Mae West. Its box is lined with lace, a traditional motif of the couturier. Top Notes : Peach, plum, apricot, bergamot, cinnamon; Heart Notes : Jasmine, Rose, Immortelle, Ylang-Ylang; Base Notes : Oak Moss, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Musk, Amber and Vanilla.
