Halston Z-14 is a bold masculine fragrance for Men.
Launched in 1976, Roy Halston Frowick (aka Halston) wanted to launch two fragrances for men but when presented with the options couldn't make up his mind which one he preferred so he said, 'Launch both'.
The names, Z-14 and 1-12? Those were the perfumer's code numbers.
Z-14 Top Notes : bergamot, lemon, basil, cypress, gardenia
Z-14 Heart Notes : vetiver, jasmine, patchouli, coriander, cedarwood
Z-14 Base Notes : amber, leather, olibanum, moss, musk, tonka
Halston was named at one point in his career by Newsweek as 'the premier fashion designer of all America' and famous for (among other things) designing the pill box hat worn by Jacqueline Kennedy at her husband's presidential inauguration.
