Chopard is a Swiss watchmaker and jewellery house founded by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in 1860. Founded in a small Swiss village, Chopard’s initial focus was on precision timepieces made in the traditional Swiss way. The company’s reputation for quality and reliability spread quickly, and when handed over to the Scheufele family in the 1960’s was modernized and expanded to jewellery. In 1992, Chopard partnered with L’Oreal to release fine fragrances under the esteemed Chopard brand name. The first scent, the sweet and popular Casmir, was a great success and led to over 30 perfumes being produced. These include Happy Spirit Bouquet, Noble Cedar, Noble Vetiver and Wish.
