Lalique is a French glass-wear design house founded by artist, master ceramist and jeweler Rene Lalique. Raised in both Paris and Ay, he worked in England as a freelance artist, whilst also designing jewelry for esteemed houses such as Cartier and Boucheron, before embarking on his own business in 1885. Lalique changed the course of jewelry forever with his nature-inspired pieces that depicted animals and the female form. He partnered with Coty to develop beautiful vessels for perfumes. His brilliance in designing and creating perfume bottles expanding to other houses such as Roger & Gallet, Guerlain and Worth and then eventually to his own Lalique range. Lalique has 54 perfumes to his fragrance base including Encre Noir, Fleur De Cristal, L’Amour, Le Parfum and Satinee.
