Italian fashion house Prada was founded by Mario Prada in 1913. In collaboration with his brother Martino, the pair opened a leather goods and luggage store called Fratelli Prada in Milan. Mario’s daughter took over the business from her father and in turn, her daughter would take over from her in 1978. A set number of exclusive artisan fragrances were first offered at Prada boutiques and select department stores in 2003. Each scent focused on a single note – Iris, Orange Flower, Tuberose, Violet, Etc. From there, Prada introduced their first mass market fragrance in 2004. Since then they have produced 36 perfumes including Infusion and L’Eau Ambree.
