In general the following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on the Direct Cosmetics web site, please scroll through this screen, read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. By placing an order you indicate your acceptance of these conditions.

Prohibitions
You must not misuse this Website. You will not: commit or encourage a criminal offence; transmit or distribute a virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb or post any other material which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene; hack into any aspect of the Service; corrupt data; cause annoyance to other users; infringe upon the rights of any other person's proprietary rights; send any unsolicited advertising or promotional material, commonly referred to as "spam"; or attempt to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities of or accessed through this Website. Breaching this provision would constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Direct Cosmetitics will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of this Website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

TERMS OF SALE

Pricing & Availability
All product prices are in £ sterling including VAT at the current UK rate and exclusive of delivery. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. Prices with a marked United Kingdom recommended retail price (UK RRP) refer to prices the manufacturer recommends goods are sold at in the UK market. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable product(s).

Authenticity
We guarantee that all advertised products are 100% genuine.

Images
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Colours may vary due to photographic or printing processes.

Products Details
Some products may have an associated image or photo. These are for reference only and should be considered illustrative. In the case of unboxed items or testers the price of the equivalent regular goods may be shown for reference only. We do not supply any testers free of charge. Testers are the regular products quite often in a bottle / packaging marked as a tester. Some items may also be marked not for individual sale. By submitting your order to Direct Cosmetics, you are confirming that you are aware of this fact and do not consider this to be a problem with ordering that product. We make every effort to try to ensure all products marked as such are identified accurately on the system.

Payment
Payment online can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. UK customers can also pay via Paypal, and Electron. Payment will be debited to your account before despatch of your purchase.

We do not allow cross-border transactions. Your order must be sent to the same country as your credit card is registered to. Due to our delivery prices differing from county to country, it is imperative that you choose the correct country when placing an order; failure to do so will mean the order is cancelled and will be subject to a restocking fee of £2.50 GBP

Security
No credit card or payment details for online orders will be stored on our servers. All payments are taken via Barclays EPDQ who processes all payments on our behalf. Barclays EPDQ are fully PCI compliant.

We aim to despatch orders within one working day of receipt.

Order Confirmation
You will be sent an order confirmation email which provides your order number. This number will be required in the event that you contact us with any queries.We reserve the right to decline any order. All orders are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

RETURNS & ORDER CANCELLATION

Cancellation of Orders
Except at the busiest time of the year, e.g. Christmas, orders are normally despatched to you within 1 working days of receipt by us. If you wish to cancel BEFORE we have sent goods, you must do so by phone and confirm by email at the same time. If your order has not been sent, it will be cancelled and there will be no charge whatsoever.

Return items
If you change your mind and cancel AFTER your order has been sent to you or after receiving the goods the following procedures apply :-

Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) state a customer has the right to 'cancel' the contract at any time up to '7 working days starting the day after delivery'. The goods must be returned unused, unopened and in the same condition as they were originally despatched by Direct Cosmetics. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was despatched by us.

For Health and Safety reasons we will not accept any colour cosmetic
or skincare products for refund or exchange.

You must contact us by phone to confirm which items are being returned. You will be requested to return the goods by second class post (we recommend you get Proof of Posting) and will be required to pay the cost of returning the goods. There will be no refund of the cost of returning the goods. Any free gifts associated with an item must be returned at the same time. Please return them to the address at the bottom of the page along with a note of your details and the reason for return.

Damaged items
If a product has been damaged in transit or is faulty, please contact us on 01572 756805 within 3 working days of order receipt to arrange a replacement or a refund and return of the faulty item by second class post. In such cases we will refund the postage cost of returning the item and any replacement will be sent with no further P&P charge.

As a statement these Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
