Terms and Conditions

In general the following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on the Direct Cosmetics web site, please scroll through this screen, read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. By placing an order you indicate your acceptance of these conditions.

TERMS OF SALE

Pricing & Availability
All product prices are in £ sterling including VAT at the current UK rate and exclusive of delivery. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. Prices with a marked United Kingdom recommended retail price (UK RRP) refer to prices the manufacturer recommends goods are sold at in the UK market. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable product(s).

Authenticity
We guarantee that all advertised products are 100% genuine.

Images
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Colours may vary due to photographic or printing processes.

Products Details
Some products may have an associated image or photo. These are for reference only and should be considered illustrative. In the case of unboxed items or testers the price of the equivalent regular goods may be shown for reference only. We do not supply any testers free of charge. Testers are the regular products quite often in a bottle / packaging marked as a tester. Some items may also be marked not for individual sale. By submitting your order to Direct Cosmetics, you are confirming that you are aware of this fact and do not consider this to be a problem with ordering that product. We make every effort to try to ensure all products marked as such are identified accurately on the system.

Payment
Payment online can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. UK customers can also pay via Paypal, and Electron. Payment will be debited to your account before despatch of your purchase.

We do not allow cross-border transactions. Your order must be sent to the same country as your credit card is registered to. Due to our delivery prices differing from county to country, it is imperative that you choose the correct country when placing an order; failure to do so will mean the order is cancelled and will be subject to a restocking fee of £2.50 GBP

Security
No credit card or payment details for online orders will be stored on our servers. All payments are taken via Sage Pay who processes all payments on our behalf. Sage Pay are fully PCI compliant.

Order Confirmation
You will be sent an order confirmation email which provides your order number. This number will be required in the event that you contact us with any queries. We reserve the right to decline any order. All orders are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We aim to despatch orders within one working day of receipt.

RETURNS & ORDER CANCELLATION

Cancellation of Orders
Orders are normally despatched to you within 1 working days of receipt by us. If you wish to cancel BEFORE we have sent goods, you must send us an email to confirm. If your order has not been sent, it will be cancelled and there will be no charge whatsoever.

Non Collection
If you do not collect the parcel from the sorting office within 10 days, the parcel should be returned to us. On receipt of the parcel we will refund you the monies minus any applicable delivery charges. If you would like us to re-send the item a delivery charge will applicable based on the service you request (orders over the value of £35 will have to be sent recorded delivery). Please check our delivery page for details of current delivery charges.

Return items
If you change your mind and cancel AFTER your order has been sent to you or after receiving the goods the following procedures apply :-

Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) state a customer has the right to 'cancel' the contract at any time up to '14 working days starting the day after delivery'. The goods must be returned unused, unopened and in the same condition as they were originally despatched by Direct Cosmetics. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was despatched by us.

Some items are non-returnable for reasons of health and hygiene. The right to cancel does not apply to goods which are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or sealed goods (if they become unsealed after delivery).

For Health and Safety reasons we will not accept any colour cosmetic or skincare products for refund or exchange.

You must contact us by phone or email us to confirm which items are being returned. You will be requested to return the goods by second class post (we recommend you get Proof of Posting) and will be required to pay the cost of returning the goods. Any free gifts associated with an item must be returned at the same time. Please return them to the address at the bottom of the page along with a note of your details and the reason for return.

Damaged items
If a product has been damaged in transit or is incorrect, please email a picture of the item(s) within 3 working days of receipt to customercare@directcosmetics.com. A member of the customer care team will be in touch.
