Fragrance Tips: How Should You Wear Your Perfume?
• Splash weaker concentrates such as Eau de Toilette (EDT) on cooler parts of the body for maximum effect.
• Some experts claim that perfume lasts longer when spritzed lightly onto damp skin. Try spraying it on after a shower.
• Wear it on your wrists, but don't rub it together or it will alter the smell.
• Apply to pulse points: wrists, navel, collarbone and even behind the knees or at the ankle.
• Layering perfume is the ideal was to make the fragrance last longer. Start by using the bath foam and soap, then the body lotion and finish with the fragrance itself.
• Behind the ears is the worst place for fragrance. There are no sebaceous glands there, so the alcohol will dry and age the skin.
