Elizabeth Taylor was a British-American actress whose film career spanned nearly sixty years. Famous for her beauty, talent and turbulent personal life which included a long list of husbands, Taylor was also a fashion icon with a passion for fine jewelry. This served as an inspiration for the perfume line she would launch with Elizabeth Arden. The first fragrance line, women’s scent Passion, debuted in 1987 followed by the men’s version. In 1991, the enduring best-seller White Diamonds was introduced leading to other gem-inspired fragrances. In total there are 13 scents by the actress including Black Pearls.
