Created in 1975, this SPICY/FRUITY fragrance is a daring, uncompromising scent of the audacious eighties. Dior were so concerened that others might cash in on the theme, that they took the precaution of registering similar names including'Hemlock', 'Arsenic' and 'Venom'. A soaraway success, Dior had sold a staggering 30 million bottles by 1991. After its launch, whole fields of tuberoses had to be planted specially to ensure supply. Fruity notes of blackcurrant and redcurrant mix with amber, coriander, pepper and cinnamon in an amethyst apple-shaped bottle.
